Serbian language school

Serbian Language and Culture Workshop invites you to learn Serbian
this summer and to visit some of the most exciting festivals and the
most exciting country in the whole Balkans - Serbia!

Why learn Serbian
at all?

It is a key language for the southeast Europe, spoken in its
local varieties by more than 20 million people and understood by more
than 10 million more. It will give you great opportunities to travel
around the Balkans, to interact with the locals more indirectly, to
order food, sing songs, to fall in love, but also to negotiate prices,
buy real estates, to a start a new business and spread the old one.

In order to get an added value, we advise you to merge our programs
with local festivals and events, e.g. take Belgrade Summer School of
Serbian Language
( http://www.srpskijezik.edu.rs/index.php?id=2200&jzk=en) and tickets
for the famous EXIT festival (http://www.exitfest.org/), or combine
the Summer School of Serbian Language and Culture in Valjevo
( http://www.srpskijezik.edu.rs/index.php?id=2100&jzk=en) with the
Brass Bands Festival in Guča (http://www.guca.rs/). You will see a new
side of education and fun, the one you maybe have never thought it
might exist!

For more dedicated students, Serbian Language and Culture Workshop
offers Serbian Language Intensive Courses
( http://www.srpskijezik.edu.rs/index.php?id=2400&jzk=en) which run
throughout the year, and also Serbian Semester Abroad program, under
the auspices of the Faculty of Philology of the University in Belgrade
( http://www.srpskijezik.edu.rs/index.php?id=1150&jzk=en). If your
skills in Serbian need to be certified, we can provide the National
Certificate of Language Proficiency in Serbian
( http://www.srpskijezik.edu.rs/index.php?id=1160&jzk=en), the only
nationally and internationally recognized legal document which proves
your level in Serbian, perfect for boosting your CV if you want to
apply for a job or an internship in Belgrade.

The exams are organized
at the University in Belgrade, three times a year (June, September,
January).
